The bookish, merchy store is live! And I've just got the domain OldCuriouserShop.com after much deliberation: gotta keep consistent branding and keep it bookish. A Charles Dickens reference works beautifully, I think.

I had in the past conceived of a purely sticker-based store through Shopify, unconnected to any of my other ventures. That's partly why there are so many stickers in the current store. I also just like stickers. You'll also find blank journals both spiral-bound and hardcover, pins and postcards and puzzles, and assorted such stuff. Literary-related but also a healthy dose of classic art and illustration.

I am finally feeling pretty happy about this website design. As usual with my graphic design endeavors, I tend to start with a creative idea, it gets WAY out of hand and unnecessarily complicated. And then I reconsider, redo it entirely, with restraint. Always makes for a much more effective and pleasing result.

Working on lots of little things that might realistically need a lot more time and effort than I actually have. Like having a store with lots of literary and generally bookish products, as well as more branded "merchy" products associated with Curiouser House. I have used Zazzle in the past but I am sure there's alternatives that would work just as well or better. Some of those I have used, others not so much, but they all tend to have costs, unlike Zazzle.

Of course what I really SHOULD be working on is MORE BOOKS. There are so many more books I want to produce. Many I already have in progress, and a few even pretty close to finishing.
